Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using OpenPatent, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
"OpenPatent" refers to the software platform, web application, and associated services operated by Tech Tank. "User" means any individual or entity that creates an account or accesses the platform. "Content" means all data, text, files, and materials uploaded or generated by Users on the platform.
By registering for an account, clicking "Agree," or otherwise accessing the services, you represent that (a) you are at least 18 years of age, (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and (c) your use of OpenPatent does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at openpatent@techtank.com.tr if you suspect any unauthorised use.
Subject to these Terms, Tech Tank grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for lawful IP management purposes. You agree not to:
All platform technology, design, trademarks, and software remain the exclusive property of Tech Tank. Content you create or upload remains your property. You grant Tech Tank a limited licence to process and store your Content solely to deliver the services. We do not claim ownership over your inventions or patent applications.
OpenPatent's AI tools assist with drafting and analysis. They do not constitute legal advice. AI-generated patent claims must be reviewed by a qualified patent attorney before filing. Tech Tank is not liable for errors or omissions in AI-generated outputs.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account. You authorise us to charge your payment method on record for recurring subscriptions.
You may close your account at any time. Tech Tank may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued access poses a risk to other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TECH TANK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TECH TANK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tech Tank, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, and expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
